Garment Making for Beginners
The class will guide each person through the process of making a garment from start to finish. We will all work through the same pattern, but each student will choose their own fabric and version of the pattern to make. Choose between pants, shorts, or a skirt. We will cover the basics of using a sewing machine, reading a pattern and altering it to your measurements, selecting and cutting fabric, assembling the garment, and completing all of the finishing details. There will be some time required between classes to complete your garment; we're offering an open studio on Saturday afternoons to work at your own pace.
